We insist on highest quality in all we do. Aqua Excel constantly carries out internationally accredited 11 quality tests and certify before they reach you.
Quality Test Conducted
1. Impact Test
- A specific weight is made to fall on the pipes from various heights to ensure the pipes are free from breakage.
- Aqua Excel Pipes & fittings meet the ASTM standards pertaining to the Impact test
2. Hydrostatic Pressure Test
- The CPVC pipes and fittings are subject to a constant internal hydrostatic pressure to check for any material change.
- Aqua Excel Pipes & Fittings does not show any material change and meet the ASTM standards pertaining to the Hydrostatic Pressure Test
3. Reversion Test
- This test is carried out to ensure the Aqua Excel CPVC Pipes & Fittings when exposed to constant hot air due to high atmospheric temperature, does not alter its dimensions
4. Opacity Test
- This test is carried out to determine whether there is any transparency along the length of the pipe.
- Aqua Excel Pipes & Fittings does not show any transparency and meet the ASTM standard pertaining to this test
5. Tensile Test
- The pipe Sample is subject to the universal tensile tester to ensure the tensile strength is not below the specified standards. Aqua Excel Pipes & Fittings exhibit optimum tensile strength and ensure it is as per the ASTM standards pertaining to this test.
6. Vicat softening test
- The pipe sample is subject to the Vicat softening temperature test to ensure the temperature is well within the admissible range. This is done to ensure that the pipe sample does not drop below the specified softening point. The Aqua Excel Pipes & Fittings prove their robustness when they are subject to this test.
7. Malfunction test
- The Pipe sample is subject to a constant internal hyderostatic water pressure under temperature for a given period of time to ensure there is no swelling or burst as per ASTM standards.
8. Burst Pressure Test
- The pipes are subject to a constant increase of hydrostatic air pressure to find out the burst pressure of it. This test is done to ensure that our pipes can withstand the pressure as per ASTM standards.
9. Density Test
- The pipe sample is checked to ensure whether the density is within the admissible range.
10. Flattening Test
- The sample pipe is flattened, between two parallel flat surfaces to ensure that the Aqua Excel Pipes & Fittings does not show any sign of crack or flaw.
11. Thermo cyclic Test
- The pipe sample is put to test at a constant internal hydrostatic pressure with various temperature range in 1000 cycles. This is done to ensure there is no leak when the Aqua Excel Pipes & Fittings are exposed to alternating hot and cold temperature in a cycle.
